During the portion of our tour in Kyoto from March 27–30, 2027, participants will arrange their own accommodations. To make planning easier, we have highlighted three hotels that we highly recommend based on their location, convenience, and overall quality. Kyoto Century Hotel will serve as our tour's home base during our time in Kyoto and will be the designated morning meeting location for each day's activities. For those seeking a more luxurious stay, The Thousand Kyoto offers premium accommodations just steps away. Hotel Granvia Kyoto, located directly within Kyoto Station, provides exceptional convenience with immediate access to transportation, shopping, and dining.
All three hotels can be reserved through major online booking platforms such as Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, and similar travel websites, or directly through each hotel's official website. As late March is a popular travel season in Kyoto, we strongly encourage booking your accommodations as early as possible to secure your preferred hotel and room type.

Tradition of comfort and convenience at our Base Hotel for our time in Kyoto. This 4-Star hotel is a 2 minute walk away from the very busy Kyoto Station. Our tour bus will be parked in front of this hotel to start each day.

For those looking for a premium hotel option in Kyoto, this Upscale Modern Minimalist Hotel sits next door to the Kyoto Century Hotel, 2 minute walk to Kyoto Station
Hotel Granvia Kyoto

Modern style Hotel (5-Star). Located in the JR Kyoto Station, 2min walk to Kyoto Century Hotel. Integrated to the train station, shopping mall /department store and is the most convenient connection to/from KIX. A very busy location.

You are welcome to book any hotel that best meets your needs; however, we strongly recommend selecting accommodations within a short walking distance of Kyoto Station. As our group will meet each morning at Kyoto Century Hotel before departing for the day's activities, staying nearby will make your experience more convenient and help ensure a smooth start to each day of the tour.
