Join us for this exciting 12-Day Flower Adventure through Japan, we will revisit many of the highlights from our previous journey… from the serene countryside of Shikoku Island to the cultural treasures of Kyoto, Himeji, Nara, and Osaka. Hosted by Hitomi Gilliam, Kiyomi Kurihara, & Yukari Mitsui, they will take you through the Japanese countryside visiting Flower Farms, historical cities and landmarks, Botanical Gardens, and more. From Shikoku Island to Kyoto, Himeji, Nara, and Osaka, this exciting trip blends Japanese Culture with Japanese Flowers & Art!

Meet the group in central Osaka before travelling by private chartered bus to historic Nara. Enjoy an introductory tour of the city and lunch together before checking in and settling in for your first evening together in Japan.

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before attending a spectacular flower show and hands-on workshop at the Kasugano International Forum. In the evening, enjoy a traditional group izakaya dinner, offering the perfect opportunity to experience Japan's vibrant dining culture and connect with fellow participants.

Begin the day with breakfast before visiting Hori Engei to experience the beauty of Japanese flowering branches and the magic of hanami season. Travel by private chartered bus to Takamatsu with scenic sightseeing stops along the way, arriving in the evening to check in and unwind at your waterfront hotel.

Begin the day with breakfast before taking the ferry to the world-renowned Naoshima Art Island. Enjoy a guided tour of its iconic museums and contemporary art installations, followed by lunch in the spectacular dining room at the Benesse House Museum overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, before returning to Takamatsu for the evening.

Start the day with breakfast before visiting the renowned Isamu Noguchi Museum and Gardens. Enjoy lunch at the famous Kawata Udon before touring a Japanese carnation grower, then continue to Kochi to check in for the evening.

Enjoy breakfast before travelling to Himeji for an exclusive visit to the JFT Himeji Seika Flower Auction, including time to browse the floral supply department. Later, explore the magnificent Himeji Castle and Kokoen Garden before experiencing Japan's famous Shinkansen bullet train on the journey to Kyoto.

Experience the beauty and traditions of Kyoto on a guided city tour featuring visits to the iconic Kinkakuji Temple, Tenryuji Temple, and the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Enjoy a traditional shojin ryori lunch before concluding the day with a tour and tasting at the renowned SASAKI Sake Brewery.

Spend the day exploring some of Kyoto's most iconic cultural landmarks, including Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizudera Temple, and Toji Temple. Complete your journey with time to wander through the lively Nishiki Market, where local flavours, crafts, and culinary specialties await.

Conclude your journey with an unforgettable day immersed in Japanese culture, including a visit to the historic Ikenobo School, a kimono dressing experience, an ikebana lesson, and a traditional tea ceremony. Celebrate the end of the tour with a memorable farewell dinner at the beautiful SODOH Higashiyama.

Absolutely! We will be hosting our first Tour Orientation Session in June & will cover all add-on options, such as bringing a guest for individual days (or) all non-workshop tour activities.

Full Refunds of all payments can be issued before August 15th, 2026 without penalty, registration cancellations after this date can be deferred to another Travel with Flowers Tour within (2) years of cancellation.
